Bjorke besides commended the characterization's timing in releasing a feel-good song so close to Summer.[3] Billy Dukes of Taste of Country also gave the song a positive review, proverb that "This superstar is enjoying a time when everything that he sings sounds unique and feels deeply satisfying. He's found a few familiar themes that don't grow old speedily, and his performances take gotten meliorate with each release. 'Play It Once again' is some other hit for Bryan. "Play It Again" is currently certified vi times platinum by the RIAA, reaching the marker on August 3, 2020[9]. As of April 2017, the song has sold 2,493,000 copies in the The states.[x]
